Invite Scrooge into your home this holiday season Join us this holiday season as Motus O Dance Theatre brings to life the classic tale of A CHRISTMAS CAROL through theatre and dance. A Christmas Carol is the traditional story of Ebenezer Scrooge, a miserable old man who is visited on Christmas Eve by the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future. Through this journey, Scrooge is transformed and rethinks his miserly ways to find the Christmas spirit. Since 1990, MOTUS O Dance Theatre has created 25 full-length productions for both family and adult These productions have been performed across Canada, the U.S.A., England and Australia. Performed live, in real time, this special production of A Christmas Carol is being brought to you from The Lebovic Centre for Arts & Entertainment - 19 on the Park located in Stouffville, Ontario. JUNO Awards-winning Canadian singer-songwriter, Chantal Kreviazuk continues to celebrate her first Christmas album with a performance this December here in Stouffville!
'The world could use the Christmas spirit all year long,' Kreviazuk said, in a release. 'The kindness, gentleness and thoughtfulness that goes with the season is so healthy. The world could benefit from living by the values that radiate during Christmas.'
Her album, Christmas Is A Way Of Life, My Dear, which released Nov. 15, 2019, is a collection of five original songs and five classics like 'Silent Night' and 'Winter Wonderland.'
