19 on the Park's - Young Actors Theatre Camp!July 15-19, 2019

  • Singing, dance, and acting techniques will be explored and put into action. Your camper will learn how to create scenes, write a script and stage their ideas. All techniques taught by professional performers from the international touring dance company, Motus O Dance Theatre. The final show with professional theatre lighting, sound and multimedia takes place on Thursday evening at 6:30 pm. Campers then come together on Friday to spend a day celebrating their successes from their final show and discussing feedback for their next adventure. Have your camper enjoy being centre stage and learning from seasoned professional performers!

The film consists solely of archival footage, including 70 mm film that was previously unreleased to the public, and does not feature narration or interviews.The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival on January 24, 2019. Apollo 11 has received acclaim from critics and grossed over $8 million.

  • This one-week intensive camp is not for the faint of heart! If your kid is a triple threat (singing, acting & dancing) and finds working hard fun; this camp is for them! Based on the show stopping songs from the film “The Greatest Showman,” students will stage their own ‘Cabaret’ version of this beloved film. Attention to detail, including fine tuning of the vocal chords and singing technique is emphasized. Your camper’s dance skills are cultivated to bring heightened dynamics to the stage. As an actor, they will be exploring what it means to be ‘ in the moment.’ All techniques taught by professional performers from the international touring dance company, Motus O Dance Theatre. A Lion Bear Fox show is a collection of intimate moments shared through songs about honest hope, sorrow, love and joy.   • Motus O Dance theatre's adaptation of A Christmas Carol returns to Stouffville. Internationally touring theatre company Motus O's production of A Christmas Carol has become an annual Christmas tradition for many local families - both to watch - and for a keen cast of children and teens each year- to perform in. Since inception, the show has combined professionals with a large cast of local children and teens in a unique reworking of Charles Dickens' famous story. Enjoy this colourful and lively tale of Scrooge brought to life by the dancers of Motus O.
