Mecca Music Presents: Krystle Dos SantosOct. 14, 2017

  • To simply classify Krystle Dos Santos as a recording artist would be neglecting one of the most intriguing aspects of her talents.  Whether facing the crowd on her own or with her full ensemble of band-mates as she is more accustomed, Dos Santos uses a sultry tone and eccentric array of melodies to create an intimately magnetic connection with her audience.

Gordie MacKeeman and His Rhythm BoysNov. 4, 2017

  • Gordie Mackeeman exemplifies the term natural Showman. An Ace fiddle player nicknamed “crazy legs” for his frenetic loose-limbed step-dancing, he just loves to perform. Combine that exuberance and onstage dynamism with the stellar musicianship of his multi-instrumental band “His Rhythm Boys,” and you have an unstoppable roots music force. The result is an eclectic signature sound that draws upon bluegrass, old time country, folk, rockabilly, swing, Celtic and other styles in genre-defying fashion.

He’d be going back on the radio with the Louisiana Hayride, he’d be touring again, he was getting married in October, and he was going back into the studio to make a new record. But what caused the turn around?
